Coastal Civic Review

Partnerships

Coastal Civic Review considers collaborations that fit its focus on coastal places, shared waterfronts and the geography of reaching and understanding the shore. A clear proposal should explain the subject, the intended audience and what each party would contribute, without assuming editorial approval.

Possible collaborations

We may consider sponsored explainers, clearly identified partner contributions, reader-facing resource features and other editorially suitable projects related to coastal place and public understanding. We also accept standing partner placements, provided their subject and presentation are appropriate for the publication. We do not imply endorsement merely by listing or working with a partner.

Clear labels, clear boundaries

Paid or partner-supported material is labelled prominently so readers can recognise its status. Partner placements are marked as partner material, and sponsored contributions are identified as sponsored. Independent editorial content remains under the control of Coastal Civic Review; payment or collaboration does not buy a particular conclusion, review or recommendation.

Making a proposal

Use the Contact page and choose the partnership option. Describe the idea, proposed format and any support or placement requested. We review proposals for relevance and clarity and may decline those that do not fit the publication. Contact does not guarantee a partnership or placement.
